- Blown render or pebbledash
- Eroding mortar or painting
- Constant maintenance of discoloured paint
The Wall Coating Process Explained
Stage One - Cleaning
All surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly by using our specialist high powered industrial jet washers. All traces of mould, grime and other contaminants are washed away, along with any existing delaminating paintwork. This will help to further identify any damaged brickwork, render, pebbledash, masonry etc. A fungicidal wash solution is then applied to ensure re-growth of any spores is prohibited in the years to come.
Stage Two - Repair & Restoration
Once problem areas have been identified, our experienced teams can begin to repair any defective areas. Defective brickwork is made good and all cracks are chased out. Fibre reinforced polymer cements are used to ensure a perfect bond. Great care is taken to ensure any repair work undertaken is blended in as best as possible. All freshly repaired areas are then bagwashed with a polymer modified mortar to ensure any small holes are filled and any imperfections are eliminated.
Stage Three - Masking Up
Stage Four - Premier Coat / Bonding Coat
A special primer coat is then applied to the walls to ensure perfect cohesion of the final coating to the substrate. This helps to form an incredibly strong final coat once the top coat has been applied.
Stage Five - Top Coat Application
Our teams then apply the final colour coat using specialist industrial spray equipment. The coating is applied under high pressure and the complete system is up to 20 times thicker than conventional paint, leaving a beautiful uniform finish that will last up to 30 years, thus eliminating the need to repaint every 2-3 years! We then leave your property in a clean and tidy condition, taking all materials and debris with us, leaving you to admire your new looking property!
